How long does the battery last after a full charge? null

I just received one as a Christmas gift and the battery life is no where near 6 hours. I wasn't even on mine and the battery drains pretty fast in my opinion, especially when It's not being used and it just came out of the box. I'm not satisfied with this product as of now and considering on returning it. After a full charge I wasn't on it for a hour just surfing and it's at 45% now.

I too just bought this model and the battery on full charge lasts less than an hour, its very disappointing because I consider all specs and this claimed it lasted 6 hours, what a joke!!!!! I may contact HP or simply return it to Best Buy.

The battery life is 6 hours.
