“How does the fan hold up on this laptop? I love my old HP but it can probably only be on for max two hours before it overheats and shuts down. Does it have the typical small vents that older HP's have?”

Have not had a problem with overheating but I have it in a laptop cooler. I highly recommend getting one. It will keep the laptop cool. I keep my laptop on all the time and it hasn't overheated or even gotten warm.
