I had some misgivings when I bought this computer. I was a little afraid that it would be a little underpowered. However, it has turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The start up time is adequate, certainly better than any other version of Windows I have ever used. My needs are modest, primarily email, web surfing, viewing you tube. It handles these handily. Wpuld highly recommend for anyone looking for a budget computer.
