as i never had the ultra, it is faster than a stick imo. the roku iphone app is terrific, not sure why they (cnet or roku) doesn't tell more users about this great feature.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Roku in the sound bar is not quite as good as the ultra. It is a little slower loading channels but I have been happy. My only problem is that it doesn’t have a Ethernet port. I can’t get it to connect to 5g WiFi so I wish I could connect it directly to my router.
