I paired the sound bar remote to the TV. Go to settings, devices and select pair new device. Just follow the steps and it does it all for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have the TCL - 50" Class - LED - 5 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR - Roku TV Model:50S525. The remote we received with the soundbar will operate and function in-place of the one that came with the tv. The hiccup we have, and I have been unable to resolve the issue, is that when I turn on the tv with the soundbar remote the sound bar appears as one of the app boxes. The only way we have been able to resolve it is to either turn the tv off and on again then it seems to load the soundbar or grab the old tv remote and hit the ok button as if we were selecting any of our other apps we have on the tv. I have tried re-pairing and have looked to see if anyone has had the same issue but have yet to find any answers. So other than that small hiccup we have really enjoyed the new soundbar and found it easy to navigate and set up.
