“For a $1050 laptop before student discount, why is the webcam 480p? I don't plan on using the webcam but I expect better for a $1000+ product. Is the left USB-C port strictly for charging? In other words, there's only 1 port?”

Left USB C port allows for the included Dongle. Dongle has USB A Female, HDMI, and USB C Female for Power Pass through. Right Side USB C is strictly for data only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are 2 USB-C ports. To charge on the left . For data transfer on the right. I bought mine a month or so ago and I love it. I don't use the camera much, but the speed and weight are awesome for the price. It comes with a dongle to connect to a regular USB, a USB-C and one other type of connection. It is great for on the go and it is a 2 in one. I personally am very happy with it, the only thing I wish it had would be an illuminated keyboard, but I can live without it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To JR4U: This device DOES have a backlit keyboard. Use the key combination fn + f4 to increase brightness, fn + f3 to decrease. I only just discovered this tonight myself! Enjoy, this is a great laptop!
