Thank you everyone for your answers. I returned the laptop yesterday and got a new one...this one the buttons seem to work...I must have just gotten a faulty machine the first time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have a problem with the touchpad. I can left and right click as normal where it is separated, and I can click and drag and double tap. I can even scroll and change the zoom on my screen with an easy swipe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No problem it was just too sensitive on mine. I disabled the "tap with a single finger to single-click" and "tap with two fingers to right click". I was selecting and moving stuff by accident. I had the touchpad on medium sensitivity. Right click is a hard press and click that only works on the lower right. and my left click is a press and click now. That's the way I like it anyway. Go into settings, devices, touchpad to adjust. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I struggled at the beginning trying to apply standard amount of pressure on the mouse for both right and left click..... eventually realized that this mouse pad is VERY sensitive and only needs to be barely touched to work. that seems to have fixed most problems for me. hope that helps...
