“How is the heat on this laptop? Does it get hot while streaming videos, running apps in the background, etc...? Also how hot does it get? I really like this laptop but I'm wondering how it holds up for day to day use.”

I've only had the laptop for a couple of weeks, but use it everyday. The laptop does not get hot, but I do have it setting on a lap pad. But feeling under the laptop now, it is cool, and it's been on all day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but only for a few minutes and then it cools off last's I would have to say about 2-5 minutes then it cools down. It has a very good system that allows for the computer to remain cool for a whole day. I have not had any issues regarding this question only thing I will note so you know is when you watch movies sometimes it will get hot 1 or 2 times during a movie then right away cools down and the bottom of the device is always cool it's never warm and you almost can feel the device from the inside cooling off. As to regarding running apps in the background I have never had any issues with heat. Day to day running it I have not experienced any problems. Only when running long term videos in the beginning for a few minutes and sometimes with movies but it always remains cool. As to how hot it gets, very minimal you can barely feel the heat.
