Yes it is. This remote fob features added range (up to 1 mile according to the manufacturer) as well as audible tone and visual (green light) confirmation that the vehicle received the signal and has started. A useful upgrade if your vehicle is frequently parked where you can't see it to confirm remote start was successful. The build quality is also more robust than that of the one way remote fob provided with the kit.
