How do you shut the car down if It is stolen? null

I do not believe it works for that.

First of all, your car is locked before you remote start the vehicle. Then there is a 2 step process of keeping the car running before you can drive away with it. The transmission is locked in park, and the steering wheel is locked, so just jumping in and driving off with the vehicle is impossible. Plus If I remember right, your Viper system is registered on their web site and they can shut it down for you in the unlikely event a professional could make off with your car. I don't worry about anyone stealing the car, & I've had a security system and remote starter combination for over 20 years and no one in my circle has ever heard of a car stolen with a remote system installed.

Hard to say. Unit has not been installed in car. Appointment for installation was cancelled by store. No word on when the installation can occur.
