When you need to use it they'll look it up with your Best Buy account and as long as you are past your term or have damaged the item in a non-warranty covered way then you should be fine. You can check your plan details on your Best Buy account.

Your warranty comes with the receipt in your email, or on your account, it's automatically setup and ready when purchased.

If I’m not mistaken, it started the day that you purchase the warranty as long as you have a Best Buy account. If you don’t have a Best Buy account, I can’t answer that.

No, it will show on your receipt that u have it and if you lose the receipt or forgotten to bring it just give ur name or phone number they can pull it up

I have never had to. And, all my warranties have been honored with no hassle.
