Just take the item into the store ands go to the warrsnty dept. They would explain to you. Did buy with a credit card? Then they should have it in their system but if you paid cash you need to receipt.

It's activated from the time of purchase. If you need to take a look at the protection, you can see it on your Best Buy account and we can also pull it up in our systems.
