Since you bought it at Best buy you should be able to call or go to the store and talk to their floor people and they should be able to answer these questions

Maybe it was the start button.
I've got micro- oven, but different
Model. I think my buttons
we're pushed too many times,
and now won't start after the sequence is done (button push's
1,2,3 pushes on 3 button's, each
1 push in sequence . (Is that enough pushes?) LOL!!

Every thing works, but won't

I recommend always getting the the Geek added warranty. It’s for four years. I had the same thing happen. They don’t repair microwaves. Money back and buy a new one. 

If it’s less than a year (or maybe it’s two) it should be under manufactures warranty. 

Always save your receipts and register your products.

WE have the same unit and it works fine. Try unplugging it from power for 30 seconds to reset the processor.

I experience that too with many microwave ovens. I think it depends on the type of food. Recently, I started using thin food wrapping to replace food cover. So far so good

You have to test them and use the adjustment to make it right. Sometimes the ventilation is not very good.
