- Answer Hi Roger – With a smart home device like a smart thermostat, the Geek Squad Protection Plan would run concurrently with the manufacturer’s warranty. It covers things outside of what the manufacturer will cover, so you are still getting a benefit in that first year.

- Answer No, the protection plans/extended warranties are separate from installation services. The protection plan covers your device. The Geek Squad does offer TV and Projector Mounting Services and the work/labor is backed for 90 days.
