Hi Hank. Thanks for your great question. You can only purchase the 5 year protection on a TV purchased through us. A membership like Total Tech Support can definitely help with diagnosing and discounting repair on a device that isn't purchased through us otherwise. Keep in mind, we do price match other retailers so if you're looking at a TV we sell as well, that may be the easiest. I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please reach on out to us.
