I'm in the same boat..Bought Blu-ray wifi DVD player with 2 year protection, was told if it's a gift to transfer protection to their name. Asked a Best buy employee about this at checkout, was told it would be on the email receipt that online instructions would be available..looked all around the site, and found your question..
