• Yes, but I wouldn't super recommend it. I did for 5 months and finally got a monitor on sale to replace it. Its a great tv and works awesome as a secondary monitor but the picture isn't as crisp as I'd prefer for computer work; spreadsheets, etc. If you are just using it for general use, browsing, etc it'll do the trick!

• I am not sure if can be used as a computer monitor. I purchased this TV for my mother for Christmas. But since it has an hdmi input I would assume ur could be used for that.

• Yes, you select the cable that you are connecting the computer to the tv. Example, HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, etc.
