A:AnswerClosed caption does work but some programs don't supply it. Press button on remote CC. My TV did not come with an HDMI cable but my fire TV stick works.
A:AnswerYes you can ,we had an old non flat screen tv and had to use a digital converter from cable company to get the digital channels. We bought the insignia 24" and got the digital channels without the converter vox. I took the box back to time arner ad saved 6.00 a month on my bill
