“We are replacing a GE Profile model PEM31SM4SS -bought a PEM31SFSS to put in the same space. Is that right? We had no idea that a trim kit was needed- what size would you suggest? Our dimensions for the space are 24W, 14 1/2 H D 11 1/2 . thanks!”

Hi Elaine! Thanks for reaching out to us. We appreciate your loyalty to GE Appliances, and we'd love to assist you. The trim kit should be based on how wide the space is you're trying to fill. We found that JX827SFSS, is the appropriate trim kit for your microwave oven if you are filling a 27" wide cavity. If you are trying to fill a 30" wide cavity, then JX830SFSS is the appropriate trim kit.
