How do I get the DVD player to work null

You only have to put a DVD in the player and the TV will automatically change the input to DVD and allow you to watch the movie. When you are putting the discs in make sure you are putting them in with the label towards the back of the TV.

The DVD player runs automaticaly when you place a Compatable DVD into the disc slot in the back on the right side. Be sure to have the disc name face toward the rear, if its placed in the wrong way it will start to run then stops and automatically eject the disc, just turn it around and insert it again. I know you have already checked to make sure it a DVD and not a Blu-Ray, as these will not play in this set. Hope this helps. Enjoy!
