The 12 volts coming from the standard 120 volt power cord is still 60 cycle AC (Alternating Current). The 12 volts from your RV power supply is DC (Direct Current), so that would not work. However there are good, inexpensive inverters on the market that can take your 12 volts DC and provide the required 120 volts AC that the TV power cord can be used with. Just be sure to get an inverter with a large enough power capacity in watts.
