QuestionDo I need to have a vent when installing microwave with trim kit? Does the air just recirculated within the cabinet?

- Answer No you don’t, the Trim Kit has it’s own low-profile venting kit that you attach to the side and top of the microwave with included 2 sided tape. Once this is installed it vents the air out the top and sides. TIP: I bought that metallic heat resistant tape to add an extra seal once I had it lined up and attached. It’s all pretty easy to and looks great after it’s installed. I ended up installing it myself and it came out great!!

QuestionWill this work with LG microwave MSER2090D? Most answers say to use LMC2075BD but that microwave is unavailable. I am concerned that the opening height may be too small.

The height and overall dimensions of the MSER2090D could differ slightly, making the opening height of the trim kit too small. QuestionAre they SERIOUSLY selling this trim kit for more than the microwave itself? SMH What a turn off to purchasing an LG Microwave.

- Answer Hi, trim kit MK2030NBD is available online at best buy for $279.99. This trim kit fits microwave models LMC2075BD and LMC2075ST. The costs for these models on lg.com are $219.00 and $199.00. Yes, this particular trim kit does cost more than the microwaves they are compatible with. ^Chris
