A:AnswerYou could call to ask. Who knows, it could be an issue with that model.
If not, you may want to give this a try (if you haven’t already): UNPLUG unit. Lightly spray WD-40 (or similar lubricant) at base lightbulb. Let set a few minutes to reach crevices. Using leather glove* or thick* damp rag, gently twist bulb counter-clockwise to remove.
*Used to help protect against glass shards in event bulb breaks. IF bulb breaks, search online for “Potato to Remove Broken Lightbulb.”
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerI saw this question today (9/15/23) and hope you got an answer! Did you call Best Buy customer service? That's what I would have done, rather than post a question.
A:AnswerFrom your original Purchase date. Not delivery date. The three years warranty adds 2 additional years onto the Whirlpool factory warranty.
You have to fight with them about this or a late delivery will shorten your warranty.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for your question. We'd like to hear more about what's going on to see how we can help. If you'd like to do this, you can either get in contact with your local Best Buy or you can call us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
A:AnswerVery simple here is how I understand the warranty to work if you purchased the appliance along with the geek squad, three-year warranty, and the problem you’re having now with it falls into that three-year warranty then all you should have to do is simply call up your local Best Buy and they should send somebody to either fix it or replace it. I don’t know if you need the receipt, but I know at the Best Buy I go to which is here in Long Island. They usually save all that information on their computer. Hope that helps!!
