“I have a Built -in GE Profile Microwave, Model #JE2160SF03. I would like to replace with another GE unit, that we can use the existing Microwave trim kit. Can you recommend units that are just a microwave and units that are a Microwave Convection combo?”

Hi Roger - We certainly appreciate your loyalty! Microwave trim kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as ducts that encase and attach to the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is very important to only use the trim kit designed for that model. A comparable model is GE Profile™ Series 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Sensor Microwave Oven PEB7227ANDD. This model is compatible with GE® Required 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX7227SLSS and GE® Required 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX7230SLSS. Choose the trim kit based on your cabinet size (width).
