Hi Etodd - Thanks for choosing GE® 30" Built-In Double Microwave/Thermal Oven Model #: JTP90BMBB. Model:JX7230SLSS is not compatible with this unit. Built-in double oven with microwave models are designed as one model and are wired together. You cannot replace just one of the ovens or the microwave. You would need to replace the entire double oven. Current models are GE® 30" Combination Double Wall Oven Model #: JT3800DHBB and GE Profile™ 30" Built-In Combination Convection Microwave/Convection Wall Oven Model #: PT7800DHBB. It is a very quirky fit that took some modifications to make it work with even the microwave that it claimed to partner with. Does not contain oven parts and I’m not sure about your model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My microwave was 12 years old and replaced. The trim kit matched the new microwave. The oven was not replaced. The new microwave came in black and dark grey so it did not match my oven color. The trim kit is stainless steel. However the outer corners were more radius-ed than the original trim and the oven. It does not bother me.
