“using 32" Insignia tv as desk top monitor exclusively plugged into hdmi input and as it sits idle after awhile tv shuts off, Is this normal? This is 2nd tv please help.”

• After you plug in the HDMI to your TV and your PC. You must turn off the TV and turn it back on. Ive never seen a TV need restarted before to get it to detect the connection. But it worked for me.

• It's normal when your computer isn't sending data the tv times out also.
