• Make sure you connect the HDMI cable to the 2nd HDMI outlet behind your TV.

• Whatever you plugged the TV into most likely only supports 1080 and cannot switch to 720. The TV only supports 720. Might have to return it and get a TV that supports 1080

• make sure you change the settings to either hdmi1 or hdmi2 that should fix your problem.
