• Yes, you can plug your one cable in to the tv. You're DVD player shouldn't need cable

• If you are using an HDMI cable to hook the DVD player to the TV then yes it will work just fine.

• Yes you can plug the cable into dvd player then plug dvd player into the tv. Thats what we did and it works fine. We also have our security system plugged into it also. Good luck

• depends upon the type of outputs your dvd player has. The tv has an HDMI input and a composite input(yellow video red and white audio) your dvd should have either of these outputs. You will need the appropriate cable to interconnect the two, and use the tv remote to select the appropriate input
