“I bought an older version of the ice maker and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! The question I have is what is the best way to clean the reservoir and the area where the ice is made. Any help or suggestions would be great thank you.”

• My older machine--- I used a mixture of 30% CLR and 70% water. ran several hours, drain & refill, and run again. Drain CLR & rust out. Now it runs GREAT !!!! Wife tried using bleach once a couple ears ago,,,,didn't seemed to make a difference.

• I wash mine out with soap and water just leave the drain plug open.

• I use a spray bottle with a bleach and water mixture. Then I use a bottle washer brush to scrub the back part.

• Just take a paper towel and wipe out the machine interior as needed. The ice basket can be removed and washed in warm soapy water, rinsed and dried and replaced in the machine.
