Yes it does! You have to register and get license to fly drone with this added weight. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying DVI Mini 2

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately yes, because your Mini 2 is right at that weight. Also, you must put your mini 2 in payload mode. If you are ONLY flying recreationally, I don't believe you need to get the 107 license still, but don't quote me. Don't forget to take the TRUST exam and follow all the regulations. Can't be too secure. Hope this helps...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to FAA Part 107 you will need to register any drone over .55 lbs (250 gm). However, if you are only a "recreational" flyer then you will not need a Part 107 FAA sUAS Certification. Examining someone's roof or areal photography for a RE firm will require a Part 107 FAA certification for sUAS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, most probably. To be sure, try weighing the prop guard if you have access to the right weighing scale. As for me, I use the prop guard when flying indoors only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes that will bump its weight over 250g and like you said it will require registration. If flying outdoors.
