“in the specs, it says this TV is 720p. For whatever reason when I connect a 1080p device like my blu ray player, the box in the top right that shows the resolution says 1080p. Is it actually 1080p not 720p?”

The funny thing about the specs is that the TV itself on live regular cable will be displayed at 720p but if you plug in something with more pixels it will automatically convert to whatever you have plugged in I have my Xbox one plugged into mine via HDMI and the visual graphics are outrageously insane everything is Crystal clear and I can switch between 1080p and 1080i which I don't know what the i means but it's the same both ways it's more clear than any tv I've had even the curve tv I had last year and when I play my call of duty games the characters actually look real like there real people definitely would recommend this tv to anyone who wants a clear picture
