“How do I get my digital ATT cable box to fill the screen with the picture? I have used Picture Auto, Normal, etc. If I use the fill screen it cuts off some of the screen info. Cable box is set to 1080p with coax cable.”

The 1080p represents the quality of the picture: not the size. The change is with the internal picture size choice not with ATT. Find your picture settings for the tv and change the ratios so you can get the size you desire. There will be several different choices and of course the "zoom"s will change the picture size. Often it is a compromise as they don't always fit the screen regardless of which you choose.
