No, only HDMI with ARC v1.4 and higher CEC versions will work if you are trying to connect your source to soundbar or A/V receiver. The other HDMI connections are the v1.0 - 1.3. ARC feature was only added on the v1.4 HDMI as far as I can understand and older HDMI can not be programmed to higher versions.
