• The speaker wires are pre wired and color-coded. I already had wire run in my house, so I just spliced into it instead.

• There is a proprietary connection on the side that connects to the to the Blu-Ray system, but the speaker side will allow you to add some length. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
