The dual zone is roughly 1/3 white to 2/3 red. The number of bottles depends on the width/girth of each bottle. My wife usually fits around 12 bottles of white and 24 bottles of red. Some of the bottles of red are quite wide so they limit how many bottles will fit on each shelf.
