“Not sure how to ask this question, so I will ask the best way I can. I have two existing Bose speakers on the wall that have wires ran to an AVR Receiver. I want to use this setup as my rear speakers. Do I need to still power the speakers with AC?”

I am replacing the existing Bose speakers that are on the wall. There is speaker wire that I want to use for the rear surround speakers. Will this work? Unfortunately, BestBuy will only allow me so many characters to ask my question.
