“My old HT system had 2 HDMI in and one out. When connecting this i do not have enough connections available. Sat TV + TV. How would I connect these? This only has 1-HDMI out. No inputs. This looks like just a DVD player with Surround not a Home theater.”

Run all HDMI to your TV then use the Optical Audio output from the TV to the Surround input. Works great.
