“I have a HT-J5500 and the wireless rear speakers have a very low volume. I lowered the dB level to -6 on the front and center speakers, raised the level on the rear speakers to +6 dB but the sound from them is way too low. My wp38 has better volume.”

Try increasing the distance setting for each of the rear speakers. The volume level should rise because the system thinks that the listener is further from the speakers.
