do the speakers need to be wired to the unit null

The subwoofer, center, front left, and front right speakers are all wired directly to the player. The left and right surround sound speakers are wired to a separate box that has a wireless connection to the player. This keeps you from having to run wire across the room to the player.

All speakers other than the surround sound speaker is connected through wire.

I own one ht-j5500w and ready to buy another exactly like this one because the two rear speakers ARE wireless but still need power
