A:AnswerI have no idea but it should be replaced. Refrigerators of today do not last as in the past. The last one we bought lasted 10 years. The last one before that lasted 28 years.
A:AnswerI am sure you can. They probably will srnd out a mailer to ask if you want to extend. Just know if after the product is 10yrs old they probably wont.
A:AnswerIt is very unlikely that this warranty covers electrical shorts caused by the HOMES electrical system,
If you are very lucky your home insurance may cover it.
A:AnswerI just called them to renew our protection plan on our fridge that I thought expired on purchase date, but does not expire until installation date, and they informed me that the Geek Squad protection plan will automatically renew on the Best Buy Credit card annually at $99. I don't know if I set this up at purchase or if this is the norm if you use a Best Buy Credit Card. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerContacted GE after the replacement refrigerator was delivered. They told me they would of replaced the refrigerator, the only cost would be the delivery cost. Contacted Best Buy and they told me that if I excercised the GE replacement not the best-buy replacement they would have extended the warranty. Nice to know after the fact. Curious…. I bet happy senior who responded to my question is a employee of Best Buy? so knowledgeable … Bottom line the $ 400 I paid for piece of mind was a rip off.
A:AnswerIf you bought the appliance with the extended geek squad warranty from what I understand as long as something broke on it that’s within that warranty time. The only thing you’re supposed to do is call up
Best Buy I would ask to speak to a manager this way you bypass everybody else. Tell them you have the product tell them you have the extended warranty tell them it’s not working and that from what you understand with the warranty that you bought the item needs to either be fixed or replaced. When can someone come out and do this it should be that simple.
A:AnswerI’ve been buying extended warranties for a while now I never heard of any kind of deductible. You pay one time when you purchase the product for the extended warranty and that’s it
