I was coming from an old 720P plasma so this image by comparison was great. I was going to wait until Black Friday but Best Buy had it for $349. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Good TV at a great price.
I also picked up the sound bar too. Definitely, helps because like any flat panel TV these days, the built in speakers needed some help from a sound bar.
A:AnswerNo, it won’t fit and the way the TV is designed the legs of the stand are not adjustable I had the same problem. I did however come up with a solution. I purchased a shelf from my local home improvement store (Home Depot) and centered the shelf on top of my stand. This provided me with the extra couple of inches that the legs could rest on. Worked like a charm. The TV is stable and works great. The shelf was a pre-cut shelf in their bookcase department. Cost me less than $10. Sorry the attached pix is a bit dark.
