A:Answer I wrestled with the same concerns. I was also concerned about the number of local areas of dimming, in the end, I decided on this TV over it’s TCL rival. I am happy with the purchase.
I was coming from an old 720P plasma so this image by comparison was great. I was going to wait until Black Friday but Best Buy had it for $349. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Good TV at a great price.
I also picked up the sound bar too. Definitely, helps because like any flat panel TV these days, the built in speakers needed some help from a sound bar.
