Q: QuestionDoes it matter if you use the stainless steel pot or the non stick with this air fryer lid?
Asked by Dinolady.
- A:Answer Yes! It said that you need to use the basket and or tray that comes with the air fryer inches stainless pot that goes inside your instant pot not to use a nonstick bowl ...I'm assuming because of the high heat that will be swirling inside the pot when being used as the air fryer.

Q: QuestionI love my instant pot because of the stainless steel interior, however, am wondering what the interior of the air fryer lid is made of as well as the air fryer basket and broiler tray. It looks like they are some sort of non-stick from what I can tell.
Asked by Indiana.
- A:Answer I have an instant pot also and bought the air fryer lid this past november....its a dark metal but it is not coated with anything like a Teflon nonstick where you would need to be careful what types of utensils that you use... I have had zero issues with the basket and tray.. everything from veggies, meat and melted cheese has released just as easily as in my pots stainless bowl. I've had no problems with any part of the pot or fryer lid. Hope this helps just a bit.

Q: QuestionIf purchased from USA 6 qts IP will work properly safely in India?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Potentially, but there are numerous risks - mainly to do with powering it. You'll primarily need a step-down transformer or adapter capable of stepping down the Indian 220 V outlets to the 120 V North American standard; preferably one that's fairly heavy duty and that can sustain a wattage load of at least 1200 W for the IP alone and 1500 W for the air fryer lid. This adapter should also fit the North American prongs of any Instant Pot bought in the USA. This is also assuming that where you're plugging in the Instant Pot has grounded outlets rated for a 1500 W draw. By the time you factor in the cost of finding and getting a step-down transformer, getting the IP, and transporting it to India, you might find it may not be worth the trouble.

Q: QuestionWill this work on a crock pot express 6 quart?
Asked by Jen.
- A:Answer Pretty sure that it won't since I think the liner on the crock pot express is a ceramic coated metal. An earlier Q&A quoted the Instapot site as saying that this lid won't work with ceramic liners.
