In my experience, I have fixed this type of issue by running an optical cable between the receiver and the TV. Any audio generated from the TV and not the cable box, needs the optical cable. I am no expert but this worked for me. You can also ask the geeks at best buy. They are generally very helpful.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The problem is not the receiver. The problem is how Netflix transmits their audio. Not all is transmitted in 5.1 surround sound because of the bandwidth needed. Check your settings in your Netflix account.
