• No. You will need a phono pre amp to boost the signal to line level, otherwise it will be way to quite to hear.

• It should work fine, I wouldn’t expect great quality sound or surround sound as turntables don’t produce the surround channel sound. The sub should work fine and the front L and R channels should work fine.
