• Struggled myself with that one but found how to do it. You can't pair with just the receiver. First, you have to be projecting something on tv or projector. Then, with your remote press your menu/settings button and you will see a popup on the screen. Go to Bluetooth settings and activate "pairing". Hope this helps.

• I was having the the same issue as well you have to change the function to Bluetooth on the receiver to pair with phone than search for the receiver on your phone
