Yes, both a CD player and turntable can be hooked to this system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although there aren't inputs specifically labeled as such, there are available inputs that would support these devices. Most often you would simply utilize your BluRay or DVD player as your CD player, which would be connected via one of the 4 HDMI inputs available. There are composite style inputs, of which one could be utilized for your turntable.

The system functions very well and gives a user selectable quality of sound response. Can be tailored to provide the very best for your room(s) or to mimic known existing high quality sound forums by name of forum. The system has features to automatically tailor the quality of sound to your installation & room and remember those stored/named settings for re-selection on future occasions. We are neophytes at theater/sound systems and it was a bit of a trial to set this up - we stumbled onto the correct settings several times through trail and error - but once done, WOW! We have a movie theater or concert hall or other response at selection any time we wish for whatever we wish to play! The TV connection was the most unfamiliar, we did not realize that the HDMI connection did not carry audio and that a separate connection was necessary. We almost returned the system, but stumbled onto connecting the optical as audio as well as the HDMI as visual and were thrilled at the response. We have 5.1 surround sound that shakes the floor and walls at whim, fills us with EXPERIENCE, and visual that stepped up two notches on the thrill scale! Except for the huge screen, we have theater experience movies and sound on a big flat screen TV, popcorn, and soda, all for a buck-fidy right here at home while snuggled up on our own reclining love seat! Now, because we don't spend so much at the theater, we can enjoy more costly nights out at dinner - we can get steak and shrimp instead of big Macs!
