Probably. I don't have fire TV. This controller has a slider on the back that will basically change it from an xbox controller to a switch controller to a PC controller ect. This makes it pretty versatile. If you can connect these controllers you can connect this one.

Oddly enough, it does. I was curios to find out, so I connected it to my Fire TV and I was able to control the TV using the joystick as a mouse pointer and click button, and the 4-direction pad to select menu options and apps.

That is a great question. I have not personally attempted to connect my gamepad to an Amazon Fire TV. This gamepad is fully compatible with the Google Android operating system. You could contact the vendor, 8BitDo, directly regarding compatibility with the Amazon Fire TV. Their customer service department should be able to reply to your questions within 48 hours.
