No, in order to have grounded outlets on the extension cord. The wall plug must be grounded as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The extension cord (120 volt) is 3-prong (grounded) extension cord. A modification (like cutting off the ground) is dangerous. There is no extension cord made that is grounded (3-plug) for a 2-plug outlet. Adapters are sold but my experience is this leaves your device(s) vulnerable and risky.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.your best bet is to replace the old outlet with a new Three prong system. Short term, you could get a 2 prong converter with a wire to ground to attach to the old wall outlet. Then just plug your new three prong into it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can uee adapter on the cord to plug in, bur you lose the ground
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you are better off just changing the old wall 2 prong outlet ,, home depot -lowes or hardware store sells 3 prongs ,, swap out your old and connect the ground ,, and you are not just better off but safer too
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are adapters you can buy to plug a 3-prong into the adapter, the adapter itself has two prong that you can stick into a two prong wall outlet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Break off the third prong on the extension cord.
