As shown in the picture it comes with 4 rechargeable batteries. My recommendation is to purchase a combination AA AAA battery charger and additional batteries, Although after 3 months this device is still well charged. The savings of not constantly buying batteries for EVERY other device the kids (and adults too) have. This btw is a simple to use yet accurate BP monitor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought one of these BP monitors and it does not come with an AC adaptor for charging, although the base unit does have an AC adaptor port. I'm not convinced the unit has an internal rechargeable battery as alluded to in the specs. I'm guessing the AC adaptor allows the monitor to be used directly with wall current, so you don't have to rely on AA batteries. I picked up an AC adaptor at Best Buy and will see if this works as an alternative power source.
