The battery will not charge when the projector is in use. The battery will only charge when the projector is switched off and plugged in. You will be able to use the projector continuously when plugged into power.

In order to charge the unit it has to be powered off and the switch needs to be in the off position before charge light comes on. Once running on battery you will get 1.5 hrs in standard brightness. Battery is swappable if you have a spare. You cannot charge the battery though while product is in use. Also I learned, if you turn the unit off with your remote that you must also turn the switch on the side of the unit to off as well. Otherwise it will slowly drain your battery and then make a hellish clicking noise until your re-plug it back in.
